About the role

Customer Success is a paramount within vArmour, ensuring our customers derive long-term value from our platform. To enhance our customer’s experience, vArmour offers Professional Services Consultants to drive value and success for our customers.

This role is responsible for ensuring Customer value realization throughout the solution delivery process.


What you’ll do

  • Provide Technical Leadership of vArmour and Customer teams to deploy the vArmour software within the Customer environment.
  • Partner with customers to implement and operationalize business-aligned, vArmour SaaS and on-premise solutions.
  • Consult with vArmour Project Managers and Customer teams to build tools to promote automation and acceleration around contextual labeling, through APIs, dynamic file parsing and static ingestion methods.
  • Transform the customer into a vArmour advanced user by exhibiting a technical, hands-on proficiency across all aspects of the vA platform to drive all phases of technology adoption; design, deploy, operationalize, troubleshoot.
  • Identify, develop and document vArmour best practices, use cases and other value-driving material.
  • Understand contextual labeling for discovered applications and services
  • Coach and enable customers to become vArmour experts and build self-sufficiency.
  • Attend and contribute to ongoing customer success activities and touch points; cadence calls, site visits, technical and executive briefings and business reviews, customer education, and training activities.
  • Identify new ways to accelerate initial and ongoing customer value, including additional integrations or policy outcomes post initial deployment.
  • Create customized training documentation, where required, and deliver hands-on training to the Customer.

What you will bring

  • 3+ years’ experience in a Professional Services delivery and development role supporting on-premise and/or SaaS applications.
  • Strong experience with the following:
  • Networking and Infrastructure Services
  • Cloud Computing capabilities
  • Docker/Containerd
  • One or more database technologies (relational, nosql, graph)
  • Linux
  • REST API
  • Scripting - Python
  • Security / Policy Management - (Rules, policies, ports, IPSec / VPN, authentication, TLS/SSL)
  • VMware - (vCenter, vSphere, NSX)
  • Familiarity with:
    • Graph Databases (Neo4j preferred)
    • K8s - Cluster Architecture, Installation & Configuration, Workloads & Scheduling, Services & Networking, Troubleshooting.
    • Public Cloud vendors (AWS/Azure/GCP)
  • Ability to work unsupervised and demonstrate initiative.
  • Ability to multi-task and provide value on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to take on new challenges and expand technical skills.
